College, Rasra, Ballia established Hari Shankar Prasad Educational Society, under this society, Hari Shankar Prasad Law College, Dharmsthali, Chitbaragaon, which foundation had been on Basant Panchami i.e. 26th January, 2004. This is the place of Saintad devotees, still after a long period of freedom of the country, there is no any institution for higher education, particularly for law education. This college is situated 15 Km. away from proper Ballia city, and 300 meters away from Ballia-Varanasi, National Highway-19, Near Buxar Turn. Hari Shankar Prasad Law College (HSPLC) a self finance institution and permanently approved by U.P. Government and affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi, for (3 years LL.B. Course). All facilities are arranged and provided by the management committee. In this area, there is no any law college, due to this the students of this areas are unable to obtained this prestigious and noble Degree of LL.B. Course. Collge have well establish and up-to-date library as well as brilliant and experienced faculty, is an open and natural peaceful academic environment. The first batch of this college started with special day of (Basant Panchami) on 13th Feb. 2005.
